Painting the Miata Hardtop

The original paint appears to have been red. The starting color was blue, and the goal was to make it black.
The paint is lethal if inhaled, so a respirator with a proper cartridge is required.
This is after the paint was applied with the HVLP gun.
The paint had a lot of "orange peel" that needed to be removed.
After 320 grit wt/dry paper was used to knock down the bumps.
After 320 (Hand), 1500 (Hand), 2000 (electric), Buffer (electric) to polish out the 320 grit.
